Week Two



This week I focused on biking so that my knee would get used to the rotation. It wasn’t intense, but was enough for my knee as I had to ease back into it slowly.




This week I went to the gym with my flat mate. She is studying personal training and was very helpful as she critiqued my technique if it was wrong when participating in gym based exercises

Week One



This week my main focus was to understand how to use the weights in the gym. I had a basic understanding of how they worked. I asked my peers and fellow gym friends how to use some machines if I wasn’t that sure about them. 
I am currently injured, I have torn my cartilage in my right knee. This means I will have to have an operation later, however my aim is to strengthen my knee and maintain my fitness so then I can have a shorter recovery after the operation. Being injured is very frustrating and I am unable to participate in some exercises.


This week I used the grinder, this helps me maintain my cardio fitness while I am unable to bike, or run. I tried to use the bike on Friday, just for the motion of bending the knee, but it was very uncomfortable due to the swelling.
