Week One



This week my main focus was to understand how to use the weights in the gym. I had a basic understanding of how they worked. I asked my peers and fellow gym friends how to use some machines if I wasn’t that sure about them. 
I am currently injured, I have torn my cartilage in my right knee. This means I will have to have an operation later, however my aim is to strengthen my knee and maintain my fitness so then I can have a shorter recovery after the operation. Being injured is very frustrating and I am unable to participate in some exercises.


This week I used the grinder, this helps me maintain my cardio fitness while I am unable to bike, or run. I tried to use the bike on Friday, just for the motion of bending the knee, but it was very uncomfortable due to the swelling.
