Week Six



This week I am back training with the Otago Spirit Team. We trained Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. I am glad to be back training with the team as I am very impatient on the sideline and dislike being injured. In the gym I didn’t do much before trainings as I knew trainings would be very intense. After trainings I had to make sure I rested and used the correct recovery techniques, so that I would recover by the next day. I had to make sure that I warmed up well and warmed down while training for rugby, using dynamic and static stretches when appropriate and iceing my knee at night.
